Rafael Anaya, owner, has over 20 years of experience in high-end tile installation for residential and commercial projects. He learned his trade from the ground up, starting as a helper for a tile company and eventually moving his way up to lead tile setter. In 2005, after years as a lead, Rafael decided that the natural next step given his entrepreneurial spirit and love of working with people was to start his own business. He takes great pride in getting to know his clients and being able to understand their priorities in design. He enjoys hard work and presenting a beautiful product, as well as making sure all projects are held to the highest standard, no matter how big or small the job.
Anaya Tile Company serves the greater Bay Area and is made up of a team of skilled tile-setters (all trained by Rafael as helpers, and after three to five years they became tile setters) who have worked together for years. Anaya Tile Company installs glass tiles and mosaics in all materials including stone, ceramic and porcelain tiles. We are experts in the area of glass tile – a very difficult type of installation given the intricacy, prep work, and detail involved. Our work covers the interior and exterior such as bathrooms, kitchens, patios, hallways, fireplace surroundings, decks, and floors. We treat all clients with the same respect and priority from the general contractor on a custom estate to the individual homeowner doing a small bathroom remodel.
We cover all steps from our own shower pan installation to waterproofing, floating and finish. Anaya Tile Company continues to use the traditional method of creating our own mortar bed float to never skimp on quality. We feel this is the best method to ensure a perfectly level and flat surface every time.
